Visually driven websites
A modern, minimal website for a Sonoma County craft brewery, designed to elevate brand perception, highlight hyperlocal ingredients, and create a seamless experience between beer, food, and community. The site blends refined aesthetics with approachable storytelling to reflect the brewery's elevated yet grounded identity.

What I Accomplished
I redesigned the brewery's website to better reflect its brand and organized the content so beer, food, events, and merchandise are each easy to explore. I built a structure the team can grow into over time, and I designed a menu management portal so staff can update food and drink offerings in real time without waiting on a designer.
What Made It Special
This project stands out because of its balance. It brings together craft brewery authenticity, refined, almost editorial-level design, and a strong sense of place in Sonoma County and local sourcing. Instead of relying on clichés, the design creates a distinct identity that feels calm, confident, and quietly premium. The menu management portal made the biggest practical difference. Previously, the brewery risked losing customers when menu items changed or sold out, because updates had to go through a web designer. Since food and beer offerings rotate and restock frequently, this led to friction and outdated information. To solve this, I designed a system that lets the team update menu items in real time, reflect daily inventory changes without delays, and keep food and drink offerings accurate. This shifted the website from a static experience into a living, operational tool that supports the business day to day.
My Role
I led the creative direction, UX strategy, and design from concept to launch, and I created the logo and branding. I focused on translating the in-person feeling of the brewery into an online presence that feels both premium and local, with clear navigation across beer, kitchen, events, and merchandise.
Strategy
My core strategy was to bridge the gap between craft and sophistication. Most brewery websites lean either too rustic or too generic, so I positioned Old Possum as elevated but not pretentious, local but design-forward, and community-driven but curated. I focused on clean layouts that let the product speak, a strong hierarchy so visitors can quickly explore beer, food, and events, and subtle lifestyle cues that reflect Sonoma County. The goal wasn't just to inform. It was to create a vibe people want to step into.
